PASIGHAT, Feb 9: A seven-member team of the central government will be arriving here on 13 February to assess the damages caused by flood and landslides during 2017. East Siang Deputy Commissioner Tamiyo Tatak gave this information in a meeting here on Friday.
Meanwhile, in another meeting convened by the DC in view of the governor’s proposed visit to East Siang district, former minister Bosiram Siram suggested that the issue of airport and the university site should be taken up with the governor, so that he may take up with the appropriate authorities the matter of making the airport and the university fully functional.
