NAHARLAGUN, Feb 11: Tata Football Academy (TFA), a premier residential football academy in India, will conduct selection trials in collaboration with the Arunachal Pradesh Football Association (APFA) for inducting players into its Jamshedpur-based football academy.
The trials will be conducted at Rajiv Gandhi Stadium here on 13 February.
“The selection trials will be held for boys below 16 years and start at 7am,” informed APFA general secretary Kipa Ajay.
Ajay advised interested players to attend the selection trials and grab the opportunity.
Emphasizing the need to groom players right from the grassroots level in order to produce good football players, Ajay said, “It is a golden opportunity for the young lads to showcase their talents and get selected and trained by the TFA.”
Interested players have been advised to bring with them their birth certificates, Aadhaar cards and two passport-size photographs for on-the-spot registration on 13 February.
