ITANAGAR, Feb 12: The Better Ziro Initiative (BEZI), formed by a group of likeminded people, has said it will take steps to improve the road from Pai Gate to Old Ziro (Lempya village entrance) in Lower Subansiri HQ Ziro, purely on self-help basis.
‘The sole purpose of the BEZI is to work for improvement of the road, purely on self-help basis, and through voluntary contributions,’ BEZI Coordinator Dr Nani Bath stated in a release.
He said the BEZI initiative is to supplement the government’s initiatives for better roads by chipping in wherever improving the road in the said portion is needed, adding that anyone who wants to make Ziro a better place to live in may contribute for the purpose.
