ZIRO, Feb 14: The All Lower Subansiri District Students’ Union in a representation to the Lower Subansiri Deputy Commissioner asked his office to immediately shift the Indira Gandhi Technological Medical Science University.
Claiming that the private university is being run by an NGO on government structure and asset, the ALSDSU quoted the government norms, and said that no private, individual and NGO can continue on a government structure or building after completion of three years tenure.
On the Trans-Arunachal Highway, the district students’ union urged the authority to expedite execution of work in the district.
Further claiming that the parking lot at Hapoli town is being misused for commercial purposes, the union demanded that the parking lot be made functioning immediately.
Also alleging that the District Land Revenue and Survey Officer has been abstaining from office for the last three months, the union demanded immediate action against the officer.
However, the DLRSO and DC could not be contacted by this daily.
