RAYANG, Feb 15: Thirty-six progressive farmers and farmwomen took part in a training programme on ‘Integrated disease management of rice and pulse crops’ held here in East Siang district on Thursday.
Addressing the farmers, KVK Head Dr Mahesh Pathak emphasized on the cultivation of rice and pulses for nutritional security and economic prosperity.
Assistant Professor (Plant Pathology & Microbiology) Dr RC Shakywar spoke about the importance of organic management of pests and diseases in rice and pulse crops.
