PASIGHAT, Feb 16: A five-day workshop on Adi folk songs is underway at Rayang village in East Siang district.
The workshop is organized by the Karpung Karduk Centre for Folk Performing Art & Research Training, with support from the Sangeet Natak Akademi.
The workshop focuses on Bari – a folk song of the tribe with ‘Nenem’ and ‘Retlong’ forming parts of it.
The workshop will conclude on 18 February.
