ITANAGAR, Feb 18: Higio Taarak from Arunachal Pradesh won the gold in the -56 kg category No Gi event of the National Jujitsu Championship held in Kochi, Kerala, from 1-4 February.
Taarak had earlier won the bronze in the 2017 National Jujitsu Championship, and silver in the 2016 National Grappling Championship.
Taarak trains under multiple-time world champion black belt Ivan Tomasetti, and multiple-time national champion purple belt Siddhart Singh in New Delhi.
