PASIGHAT, Feb 18: Scores of people participated in a mini marathon themed ‘Run for sports’, organized by the sports department at the playground of Daying Ering government higher secondary school here on Sunday.
The event, which was flagged off by East Siang District Olympics Association president Tamat Gamoh, was aimed at encouraging the people to participate in sports activities, and to stress the importance of sports in life.
In the women’s category, Yabang Tali won comfortably, while in the men’s category, Mingkeng Jomyang stood first. (DIPRO)
