ITANAGAR, Feb 22: Expressing concern over the alleged substandard road construction work being carried out at the Itanagar-Jote-Poma road, the All Arunachal Contractor’s Welfare Association (AACWA) has in a release on Thursday appealed to the state government to give strict directions to the executing agency and contractors to maintain the quality of work.
The association also claimed that the Itanagar-Papu Nallah via Jully road is not being maintained despite sanction of funds in crores every year.
“Work on the said road is yet to start despite finalization of tender process for its execution a few months back”, it further alleged.
