ITANAGAR, Feb 23: The Mint Loth Enterprises, a class V registered firm has requested the state Govt to direct all the engineering and non-engineering departments to executive all works through open tender to give legitimate rights of registered contractors to participate in quality works.
Claiming that many registered firms who are regularly filing GST return are deprived of work opportunity due to irregularities in awarding work order, the firm owner in a letter to the state chief secretary also demanded cancellation of Arunachal Pradesh District Based Entrepreneurs and Professionals (incentive, development and promotional) Rules 2015. The works are awarded to relatives of influential persons on pick and choose basis, it further said.
