Law fare at Thrizino

THRIZINO, Feb 24: The West Kameng District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) organized a legal camp and law fare under the chair of Additional District and Session Judge, Gote Mega on 24 February here.
While Mega gave an overview on the DLSA, West Kameng District Bar Association (WKDBA) president, Advocate Khamu Desisaw spoke on the Right to Information Act, 2005 and on acts that protect children.
WKDBA general secretary Gombu Tsering Gonpapa spoke on free legal aid services, while retainer lawyer Advocate Atum Lamnio spoke on the legal aid clinic. Advocate Anil Rebe spoke on the role of PRIs in legal awareness.
Representatives from all the departments of West Kameng district spoke on welfare schemes sponsored by the state and central governments.
The law fare was also attended by Thrizino block ZPM Malti Sakrinsow and PRI members.
