BALIJAN, Mar 5: Urban Development Minister Nabam Rebia on Saturday inspected the newly constructed circuit house at Balijan and found that the circuit house, which was ironically inaugurated six month ago by Rebia himself, is yet to get power and water supply.
The minister expressed dismay over the situation of the circuit house and directed Papum Pare Deputy Commissioner Tai Kaye to take immediate action and ensure that power and water supply is connected to the circuit house at the earliest.
He also directed the construction agency, the PWD, to take urgent steps in this regard.
Further, he asked the PWD to withhold security money of the contractor if the person fails to comply with the order for early installation of water and power supply, and also to set a deadline to finish the work on time.
