TARASSO, Mar 6: One day free medical camp cum eye screening and dental check up organized by NHPC, Itanagar in collaboration with Ramakrishna Mission Hospital, and district administration was held here at the government secondary school campus on Tuesday.
Deputy Commissioner Tai Kaye called on the citizens to avail the advantage of the medical camp and lauded the NHPC for organizing such free medical camps in remote areas of the district.
NHPC Chief Medical Officer, Dr A Taba said that the main motive of free medical camp is to provide medical benefits to maximum number of people in remote areas under the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) scheme of National Hydro Power Corporation Limited (NHPC Ltd).
Earlier, Circle Officer of Tarasso Rome Mele expressed his gratitude to the NHPC for organizing the free medical camp at Tarasso and requested the people to avail the facility.
During the programme, free medical check-up, eye screening, dental, and free medicines were distributed. People in large number thronged the camp to avail the facilities of free medical camp.
ADC, Balijan Chuku Takar, heads of departments, medical officers and staffs from NHPC, RKM and DHS staffs took part in the programme. (DIPRO)
