CHAYANG TAJO, Mar 14: The Panchayat body of Chayang Tajo in East Kameng district extended its support to the demands placed by the Seppa, Chayang Tajo Road Steering Committee (SCTRSC).
Ina representation submitted to Governor Dr B D Mishra on March 12 last, the SCTRSC has sought strict action against Gammon India Pvt Ltd within seven days for failing to construct the 81 km long Seppa to Chayang Tajo road.
“We strongly support the demands raised by the SCTRSC. The state government should immediately set up a high-level enquiry committee to unearth the truth behind non-completion of the 81 km long Seppa to Chayang Tajo road even after 10 long years of duration,” said Chayang Tajo Zilla Parishad Member Lama Bagang.
