LONGDING, Mar16: Longding Deputy Commissioner Vikram Singh Mallik, in a coordination meeting here on Friday, reviewed the district’s preparedness for the ensuing National Deworming Day (NDD).
The Deputy Commissioner exhorted the health workers, ASHAs and Anganwadi workers to carry out the de-worming drive sincerely. He also urged the Health Department to implement the programme in letter and spirit and to constitute the District Adverse Response Team at the earliest.
DPM Lai Bagang informed that 48000 albendazole tablets were made available for the NDD to be carried out from 19-23 March.
The mop up round will be held on 23 March.
