DEOMALI, Mar 16: The Students’ Union of Wangcha Rajkumar College, Deomali under Tirap district has informed that Dr. Apurva Ranjan, a faculty of Economics Department of the college, remained absent from duty since he had joined the college in September, 2015.
The Students’ Union said it had lodged complaints against the absenting faculty with the Education Minister, Directorate of Higher and Technical Education and All Arunachal Pradesh Students’ Union (AAPSU) in December. But, no action has been taken yet.
“The AAPSU submitted a representation to the Education Department to conduct an inquiry into the matter, but there has been no response from the authority till date,” it said.
The Students’ Union appealed to the Government to transfer him immediately from the college in the greater interest of the students and the college.
