Accused seeks apology

ITANAGAR, Mar 19: The alleged accused in the 10 March incident where two Arunachalee boys were reportedly abducted and beaten has reportedly sought an apology from the NTTC, Dimapur institution and the students concerned.
This was informed to the Wancho Students’ Union (WSU) by the institute’s principal when the union members went to visit the institute for an update on the physical assault of the two Wancho boys, namely Wangli Mikham and Mankhu Wangsu from Longding.
They were allegedly abducted and physically abused by some unknown miscreants at Pune Maharashtra on 10 March last.
NTTC Dimapur had sponsored the two Arunachalee boys for skill training along with other students from Nagaland in Pune.
During the meeting, Principal of NTTC, Dimapur informed that the institute has also expressed its concern over the matter.
“The accused, identified as Pradeep, has also sought apology from the institution and the students concerned in written form”, the principal had said.
Meanwhile, the WSU, led by its president Pongngoi Jaham also visited the Arunachal Charity Home near JJ Memorial Hospital in Dibrugarh, Assam on Monday.
The team interacted with the patients and suggested the in-charge to confer all possible care to the patients.
It also appealed to the state government to confer special package of fund for the Arunachal Charity Home.
