SEPPA, Mar 23: The East Kameng District Transport Office’s (DTO) two-day awareness campaign on road safety ended here successfully on Friday.
The campaign focused on the growing traffic menace in the town, and sought to generate awareness on road safety, besides promoting safe driving among commercial and private drivers.
Organised by the DTO in collaboration with the East Kameng Sporting Club, the campaign was conducted near the Dewana Hotel and at Nyokum Lapang in the main market area.
District Transport Officer Nondo Doka and Motor Vehicle Officer (MVI) Dambing Lamnio also participated in the campaign on the concluding day.
