ITANAGAR, Apr 16: Arunachal Pradesh Mahila Congress Committee (APMCC) president Kamala Linggi along with three other senior office bearers joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Monday.
Welcoming the former Mahila Congress office bearers into the party fold, state BJP president Tapir Gao urged them to be proactive and take initiative in promoting the BJP’s activities in the state.
The state BJP termed their joining the party “another big step towards ‘Congress mukt’ Arunachal.”
