ITANAGAR, Apr 16: The All Arunachal Pradesh Students’ Union (AAPSU) has urged the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) to immediately set up a calendar for all competitive exams.
Expressing concern over the delays in conducting competitive exams, the union in a press release on Monday said the need of the hour is for the Commission to “visualize an appropriate calendar to conduct the exams, so that the aspirants can prepare themselves according to the schedules.”
The union also demanded that a controller of examinations be posted in the APPSC at the earliest. It said it has learned that the controller of examination for the APPSC has not yet been posted.
The AAPSU also sought clarification from the education department for the delay in meeting the requisition format being sought by the APPSC for recruitment of trained graduate teachers and post graduate teachers.
