ITANAGAR, Apr 25: The traffic police personnel under the supervision of Papum Pare Superintendent of Police, T. Amo and Deputy Superintendent of Police, Dr. N Nega distributed pamphlets on traffic guidelines and safe driving to the students, and general public as part of the 29th Road Safety Week being organized across Papum Pare district from April 23 to 30.
The SP and DSP also organized street education on safe driving at Khola Camp Naka on Tuesday last. As almost all schools are on vacation, the department has organized street education and appealed the citizens to wear helmets, use seat belts and desist from drinking or using mobile phones while driving.
Further, at Doimukh a special drive was conducted where black tinted films from about 100 vehicles were removed.
