Ayushman Bharat Diwas observed

HAYULIANG, May 2: Ninety Accredited Social Health Activists (ASHAs) and Anganwadi workers attended the Ayushman Bharat Diwas, which was observed on 30 April at the KPM district hospital here.
Anjaw District Medical Officer Dr K Perme briefed on the objective of the meeting and explained the benefits of the Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Swasthya Suraksha Mission (PMRSSM).
During the meeting, the Socio Economic and Caste Census-2011, was also held for the ASHAs and Anganwadi workers for addition or deletion of family members in the list.
Medical officers in-charge and ANMs were instructed to submit the corrected list by 6 April so that the update process could be completed by 7 April.
Participating in the discussion, some ASHAs pointed out that some of their villages were missing from the SECC 2011 list and some non-existent villages’ list was instead furnished to them. Due to inaccessible mobile network, the AHSAs also expressed their inability to utilise the application for registration under PMRSSM.
Hayuliang ADC in-charge Dr T Ete cautioned the frontline health workers that their carelessness must not result in some deserving families missing out on the opportunity of the national health insurance scheme.
