ROING, May 4: Lower Dibang Valley Deputy Commissioner, Mitali Namchoom reviewed the status of centrally sponsored schemes and major state sponsored projects during a District Level Monitoring Committee (DLMC) meeting held at the DC’s conference hall, here on Friday.
In the meeting, the PWD, RWD, PHE & WS, Power, WRD, UD & Housing, DRDA and Hydropower departments gave PowerPoint presentations with details on the schemes being implemented by them.
The DC further advised all the work implementing agencies to inform all concerned about the works proposed, sanctioned and being undertaken by the departments to avoid any problems that might arise in the later stages. She also asked all present to ensure that projects taken up cater to the needs of the people of the district.
The meeting was also attended by ZPC Sipi Elapra, ZPMs, ADC Dambuk, heads of executing agencies and DPO Marto Dirchi. (DIPRO)
