ITANAGAR, May 4: The PRI members of Pistana, Yachuli and Yazali circles, have in a joint representation to the state chief secretary on Friday, said that the general public of Lower Subansiri district welcome the order issued on 2 May, 2018 regarding transfer of the incumbent deputy commissioner regarding compensation disbursement against Trans-Arunachal Highway from Joram to Koloriang and appealed to him to overlook the grievances recently raised by some section of the land-affected people on the issue.
“The transfer of deputy commissioner was done jointly by both the MLAs of Lower Subansiri district in the interest of the people. The new deputy commissioner may carry out the ‘final stage’ of compensation”, the PRI members claimed, adding that it will only hamper the land acquisition process and delay disbursement of compensation to the beneficiaries.
