ITANAGAR, May 9: As the food grain crisis grips Pipsorang and Tali circle, the All Tali Area Students Union (ATASU) demanded that the Commissioner Food and Civil Supplies increase monthly allocation of ration quota against Pipsorang and Tali CPO.
The ATASU claimed that currently Pipsorang CPO has allocation of 66 bags and Tali 109 only.
In a representation, the union informed that despite repeated letters written by the deputy commissioner of Kra Daadi and ADC Tali for increasing ration quota, the department concerned is not taking up the matter.
The union also stated that current ration quota is not sufficient for government staff and public of both circles.
