NEW DELHI, May 15: LHV Tage Munya received the prestigious Florence Nightingale Award – 2018 from President Ram Nath Kovind on the occasion of International Nurses Day at the Rashtrapati Bhavan on 12 May.
The award was conferred upon 35 nurses from across the country for their outstanding services. Munya has been awarded for her tremendous contributions towards health delivery, and for her dedication to service as ANM for 16 years and as LHV for eight years in various health settings.
Nursing DD Kijum Karga congratulated Munya on her achievement, and urged other nurses to follow her example and serve with compassion.
