NAHARLAGUN, May 26: Members of the Arunachal Pradesh Christian Revival Church Council – Women Wing (APCRCC-WW) on Saturday conducted cleanliness drives at Wards 20, 21, 23, and 28 here, under the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.
The drive was conducted at all the major locations in Naharlagun, including Lagun bridge, Polo Park, D Sector and Polo Colony.
The team also cleaned the Pachin river and the Barapani river, informed IMC AE Techi Yami, who supervised the drive along with APCRCC-WW president Khyoda Yai and general secretary Gumde Riba.
Earlier, at the request of the APCRCC team, Capital Complex Deputy Commissioner Prince Dhawan had promised to extend support to the drive.
The DC requested the residents of the capital complex to remain alert and prepared in view of the monsoon season, and to move from vulnerable areas to safer locations. (DIPRO)
