ITANAGAR, Jun 9: The East Kameng District Youth Congress (DYC) submitted a representation to the deputy commissioner on Friday, seeking early fulfillment of its demands.
Its demands include, among other things, proper utilization of funds under schemes like SADA, ADA, SIDF, NEC, NABARD, etc, and the untied fund for 2017-18 in the district; mandatory e-tendering or NIT for accountability and transparency; ensuring quality of work, as per the laid down norms, by the contractors and the departments executing projects in the district; and immediate eviction drives against encroachers near the Seppa helipad ground to make way for resumption of daily helicopter service to the district.
