ITANAGAR, Jun 15: Governor BD Mishra and Chief Minister Pema Khandu have in separate messages conveyed warm greetings to the people of the state and to all the Muslim brethren in India and abroad on the occasion of Eid-Ul-Fitr.
“It is a festival which reminds us of our obligations of alms, charity and generosity towards the weak, forlorn, poor and underprivileged. This joyous Eid-ul-Fitr festival promotes peace, harmony, brotherhood and happy coexistence amongst the people,” the governor said in his message.
“On the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, we are reminded of the importance of mercy, compassion, and goodwill,” said the CM in his message.
“It is also a time to give thanks for the spiritual growth and the blessings received throughout the holy month,” he said. (PROs)
