MIAO, Jun 15: Police arrested a burglar from Forest Colony here in Changlang district 14 June, and recovered several stolen items from him.
The burglar, who has been identified as Vijay Kitnya (18), was apprehended based on security camera footage which the police obtained from a shop Kitnya had burgled into, informed the Changlang SP.
The burglar had taken away various items worth over Rs 1 lakh from a mobile and accessories shop after breaking the shop’s ventilator at around 2 am on the same day he was arrested.
A criminal case has been registered at the police station here. (DIPRO)
