ZIRO, Jun 23: The Ex-XI FC beat Hibu Punyo FC by 1 – 0 to lift the Hong Dree Football Tournament trophy this year.
Hibu Obing scored the lone goal for Ex-XI FC at the 28th minute.
Earlier, Ex-XI FC had defeated Pamu FC by 2-0, and Ajin FC had lost to Hibu Punyo FC by 0-3 in the semi final played on 20 June.
In the women’s category, Sancha Nyimu FC scored three goals against Eleven Star FC in the penalty shootout and emerged as winners.
At the closing ceremony, former MLA Nani Ribya awarded prizes to winners and also appreciated Niichi and Niitii of Hong village for the conducting the tournament.
