Assn. serves ultimatum to DC

ITANAGAR, Jun 27: The All Ziro Hapoli Youth Association (AZHYA) has served a 15-day ultimatum starting June 25, to the Lower Subansiri deputy commissioner for early fulfilment of its three-point demands which includes; immediate dismantling of illegal structure over the public footpath adjacent to Hapoli power house besides, erection of police beat post at medical colony and school gate at Hapoli and proper street electrification of Ziro and Hapoli town for public safety.
Claiming that no action was initiated by the office of the deputy commissioner regarding the aforementioned matters despite its repeated submission of complaint letters, the association said that it will be compelled to resort to democratic action in case its demands are not met within stipulated time.
