YANGTE, Jul 3: Kra Daadi Deputy Commissioner Pige Ligu on Tuesday inspected the land terracing work being executed by the agriculture department under SADA 2017-18 in Niringha village in Yangte circle.
The DC along with officers from the agriculture department interacted with the farmers and inspected the garden of Biri Mangju, a progressive farmer of the area.
Agriculture implements were later distributed among the beneficiaries under the PMKSY.
The DC advised the farmers to form a cooperative society and take up production of cash crops. He also urged them to avail the benefits of training and exposure trips to augment their knowledge. (DIPRO)
