PAPU NALLAH, Jul 12: Food & Civil Supplies (FCS) Minister Kamlung Mossang inaugurated the annexe to the FCS directorate’s headquarters here on Thursday.
The annexe was initially constructed under SPA 2011-12, and subsequently funded under SPA 2014-15 and SADA 2017-18. The building consists of 23 rooms, along with canteen and parking provisions.
The minister, accompanied by FCS Parliamentary Secretary Tage Taki, later inspected the department’s data centre, and reiterated the importance of Aadhaar seeding in the PDS database.
FCS Director Liyon Borang apprised the minister and the PS of the department’s website and the facilities provided by the portal.
FCS secretary Jokey Angu was also present.
