Dear Editor,
I would like to draw your kind attention towards the drastic increase in usage of plastic material in our state. Though people know that most plastic is not bio degradable and is a major pollutant, people still use and dump it as if they are not residents of this planet.
Our earth, oceans has been filled with a new layer of manmade structure called plastic layer and when it is burnt, it pollutes the air.
We know the repercussions; therefore we must take steps towards its minimization.
This time our govt need to be very strict about the plastic usage.
Prohibit use of plastic in every shop, market and all commercial areas.
Please reduce the use of plastic.
