Min interacts with SLSA players, coaches undergoing trg

CHIMPU, Aug 23: Sports & Youth Affairs Minister Dr Nakul Chai on Thursday visited the players and coaches of Sangay Lhaden Sports Academy who are undergoing a 15-day personality development programme which began here on 15 August.
The programme is being organized as a part of the National Sports Day celebration.
The minister interacted with the players, coaches and the resource person, and enquired about the benefits of sports psychology programme which has been designed to shape the players’ personality.
The coaches also spoke about the benefit of the training programme.
Resource person from Mumbai-based GRIT, Nicole Menezes along with Maurelle D’Sa highlighted the synopsis of the entire programme.
Dr Chai said the states’ lone sports academy is “in dire need of a physiotherapist, a nutritionist, and a sports psychologist.”
The training programme will continue till the 30th of this month.
