ITANAGAR, Aug 27: The All Arunachal Pradesh Labours’ Union in a reminder letter to the chief minister on Monday reiterated its five-point demand and requested him to take urgent steps to address them.
The union’s demands include immediate release of minimum wages; creation of Arunachal Pradesh unorganized sectors labourers’ welfare board; approval to conduct head counting system in every department; reservation of 75 percent seats in Group C and D posts in favour of contingency/casual workers; and regularization of casual/contingency staffers.
