ITANAGAR, Sep 9: Around 21 kilometres of CC pavement roads will be constructed this financial year in different areas of the twin capital city, said local MLA Techi Kaso.
Kaso disclosed this while participating in a social service conducted in H Sector here by the members of the H Sector Welfare Committee (HSWC).
Informing that the proposal for construction and renovation of the roads has been approved and sanctioned under various capital divisions and the tender processes have been initiated, he expressed hope that the work would be completed in this financial year itself.
The MLA urged the departments concerned to ensure that the work is completed as per specifications, so that the roads are durable.
Earlier, Kaso along with the local residents took part in the social service. Among others, former IMC councillor Bogum Jini Teli, HSWC chairman Kopsi Panor, general secretary Kasung Cheda, and senior citizens participated in the social service.
