ITANAGAR, Sep 9: The People’s Party of Arunachal (PPA) has said the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) should introduce the Civil Services Aptitude Test (CSAT) from the coming year to do away with the never-ending debate over the difficulty levels of various optional subjects.
The commission should not work under any extraneous pressure and initiate follow-up action with the government, the party said, and suggested that the final results of any exam be published within the period of a calendar year.
The PPA also said the APPSC should fix responsibilities on its officials for any acts of omission and commission.
It further said the APPSC should be allowed to function as per the mandate laid down in the Constitution. It said all annual reports placed in the legislative assembly by the commission should be discussed and grievances should be addressed on priority.
