ITANAGAR, Sep 29: The community pay-and-use toilet at the RK Mission staff quarters complex in Ward 5 here was inaugurated by state BJP Mahila Morcha general secretary Techi Momta on Saturday.
Momta said the newly-constructed toilet would facilitate in reducing open defecation, and appealed to the residents to maintain cleanliness in the area and make good use of water and electricity for the toilet.
She said a few other toilets which she has had constructed in the area, using her own resources, have also become functional from Saturday.
Momta also thanked the capital district administration and the Itanagar Municipal Council for keeping Itanagar clean.
