LONGDING, Oct 9: Around 200 patients, including children, were treated during a free medical camp conducted by the Khonsa battalion of the Assam Rifles (AR) at Kunnu village here on 7 October.
The visitors were also educated about HIV/AIDS, hepatitis, malaria, waterborne diseases, and the importance maintaining good health and sanitation practices.
The health camp was conducted by a team of paramedical staff of the AR, under the guidance of the battalion’s medical officer.
