ITANAGAR, Oct 9: The All Arunachal Pradesh Labour Union in a memorandum to the Arunachal Pradesh Building & Other Construction Workers’ Welfare Board secretary on Monday sought immediate floating of a national NIT through national and leading local newspapers for procurement of blankets, mosquito nets, raincoats, radios, etc, under the board as per the BOCWW (RE&CS) Act, 1996.
Urging the secretary to look into the matter at the earliest, the union has threatened to resort to democratic action if its demand is not met.
