ROING, Oct 12: A meeting was held at the deputy commissioner’s office to review the action plan of the Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao (BBBP) campaign being implemented in Lower Dibang Valley district, here recently.
Discussions were held on activities to be undertaken to sensitize and inform stakeholders and public on the BBBP campaign.
Deputy Commissioner Mitali Namchoom advised the stakeholders present to come up with innovative ideas to effectively implement the BBBP campaign in the district.
Women and Child Development Deputy Director, GD Perying informed about the BBBP campaign and its implementation in the district. She also presented the detailed action plan, which was discussed during the meeting.
