CHAMRO, Oct 23: People from Chamro, Longman, New Khamdu, Old Khamdu, Kovin, Honkap, and Jairampur availed government services during the second Sarkar Aapke Dwar camp held at Chamro village in Changlang district on Tuesday.
MLA Laisam Simai, who inaugurated the programme, emphasized on health insurance and said, “Most of the people come seeking monetary assistance for treatment purposes. Therefore, our chief minister has launched the CM’s Arogya Arunachal Yojna under which a beneficiary can avail health benefits of upto Rs 5 lakhs.”
Later, Simai along with Jairampur ADC SS Choudhury handed over TV sets to the GBs of Taipong, Longman, Chamro, New Khamdu, Old Khamdu, Honkap, and Kovin villages, besides distributing gas stoves and LPG cylinders to 25 women beneficiaries.
At least 17 government departments along with the Nampong branch of the SBI participated in the camp.
