RONO HILLS, Nov 5: Forty-five units of blood were collected during a blood donation camp at Rajiv Gandhi University (RGU) here on Monday.
The donors included students, faculty members and employees of the university, informed RGU’s NSS programme officer John G Gangmei. He said a majority of the donors were girl students.
The camp was organized by the NSS cell of the university, along with the RGU Teachers’ Association and the RGU Employees Association to mark the National Voluntary Blood Donation Day, which is observed on 1 October every year.
