DAPORIJO, Nov 29 : Relief items like utensils and blankets were distributed to the fire affected families of Abotani colony here on Thursday by public leader, Taniya Soki.
The fire which broke out at around 6: 30m pm gutted 40 houses and rendered 50 families homeless.
Sokifurther appealed to the state government to provide immediate relief to the fire victims.
Similarly, on 25 November last, warm clothes were also distributed amongst residents of Timar village in West Siang district as relief by the Ramakrishna Mission, Aalo authority led by Swami Ishananda and other staffs. (DIPRO)
