TAWANG, Dec 5: Training on organic farming and use of modern technique was conducted at Khartoth village by the Tawang district Agriculture deputy director under the Border Area Development Programme.
During the interaction, farmers got their doubts cleared from the resource person.
Vegetable seeds, organic nutrients, bio-fertilizers, bio-pesticides, sprayers and agricultural tools were also distributed amongst the trainees.
Addressing the event, Circle Officer of Kitpi, TW Thongdok asked the farmers to adopt organic farming practices which are eco-friendly.
