RAMA CAMP, Dec 6: A drawing competition themed ‘Save our environment’ was conducted at the government secondary school here in West Kameng district on Wednesday as part of an ‘environment conservation education programme’ jointly conducted by the WWF-India and the Sherab Sangpo Sangha of Dirang.
The programme was designed to be interactive, in order to enable the students to understand the practical and day-to-day issues faced by the locals.
The students took an oath to save wildlife and forests, and promised to contribute to bring about a ‘plastic-free Dirang’.
