RGU research scholar receives best presenter award in int’l event

RONO HILLS, Dec 24: Research scholar Salomi Jugli of the zoology department of Rajiv Gandhi University (RGU) received the award for the ‘best presenter’ among young research fellows in an international conference in Thailand.
She was awarded for her paper titled, ‘Traditional knowledge on entomophagy among Adi and Apatani tribes of Arunachal Pradesh, India: A case study on harvesting methods and nutritional contents’ at the conference on ‘Agricultural and food sciences’, which was held in Bangkok, Thailand, from 26 to 28 November.
“The achievement is the result of your meticulous planning and hard work and it will inspire other scholars also to participate and gain success in such events, and thereby glorify the name of the university,” said RGU Vice Chancellor Prof Saket Kushwaha in his congratulatory message to Jugli.
