SEPPA, Jan 17: The East Kameng district election office here launched voters’ awareness forums (VAF) in various establishments of the district on Thursday, in line with the guidelines of the Election Commission of India.
Nodal officers have been deputed to various departments to help in forming the VAFs and to conduct activities centred on the technical aspects of registration, name checks and the voting process.
Demonstrations on the functionality of EVMs and VVPAT were presented, and pamphlets on ‘how to cast vote’ and VAF were distributed. (DIPRO)
